Delta

Well, we got to pick our puppy. The woman who was on the waiting list ahead of us had chosen the lone male, and then one of the females. We were second on the list, and of the three females left and we chose Delta. You can probably see why... it will be a couple weeks before we get to bring her home. We have to wait for the final weaning and she must be spayed first. We are very excited and expect a few sleepless nights but what a sweetheart. We expect big things... we chose Delta because of the story I read about a dog named Delta from ancient Greece.

We are adopting!

Oh no... we have not lost our minds, it is not what you think at all! We are looking at a new baby but the four legged kind. One of these four little girls will be ours in a couple week. They are pound puppies and we were fortunate in that we have seen the mother and so at least have some idea of their parentage. She is a german shepard, so it does not matter so much who her 'friend' was because these are going to be big dogs. Exactly what were are looking for, we are just going to have to get used to dealing with a baby for a little while and all the puddles they bring. We anticipate that Cosmo the magnificent will be quite snotty about the whole thing.
