What a difference a day makes

April 14th. Thats the day we tore the old cabin down. After so many years faithfully standing there, housing who knows how many hunting parties and lonely nights (neighbors tell rumors of a suicide a long time ago.. yikes) we hooked a chain to it and David yanked it down!Well... that makes it sounds so easy. We had been working in the freezing snow for 2 weeks straight.. pulling millions of nails, tearing off tar paper and fake asphalt brick-looking siding and burning burning burning.. all that could legally be burnt in the appropriate legal burning device in accordance to all the legal rules... of course.

Jerry saved a lot of the wood for a 'shed' he is building out by his deer camp... goona be one hell of a shed... and once David, Dickie-Bird, and myself got it down to the frame... (I actually did very little) that was it. What a difference a day makes!
